Volunteer Positions at Whitgift SNAP
Our
disabled children and young people live in Croydon and often do not have access
to popular mainstream activities in the borough. SNAP exists to provide them
with fun and stimulating activity schemes, providing the children and young people with
opportunities they may not otherwise experience, and their families with much
needed respite.
We have over 250 positions available for volunteers each year, and our young people cannot benefit without volunteer support! We provide all the training you need and make sure you are not stretched beyond your level of experience and ability. We can contribute towards your expenses, but would appreciate you bearing in mind that we are a Charity and that all funds raised go directly towards the running costs of the Project. At the end of your time on the Project you will receive a certificate detailing the number of hours you have spent volunteering for SNAP. Volunteers attend the Project from 8.30am to 4.30pm each day.
Volunteer and Staff Applications for 2010 is now closed.
