Whitgift
SNAP is a registered Charity and relies on donations and grants in order to
run its Projects.
Having fun costs money! The total cost for providing the two schemes in summer 2009 was approximately £60,000. SNAP is very grateful to Whitgift School for donating their excellent facilities and their support throughout the year including the provision of an office for the Project Coordinators. SNAP currently receives grants from the London Borough of Croydon, and has received grants from the Wates' Foundation, Help A London Child, Four Acre Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, Jack Petchey Foundation, Trusthouse Charitable Foundation and BBC Children in Need during 2007 to 2009. Donations have also been received from from local businesses, schools and individuals.
The Project Coordinators are actively seeking new sources of funding. Applications for further grants and donations are being prepared and fundraising events planned. Please contact us for more information about how to get involved in these fun events and help raise money for SNAP.
