Our Mission Statement

  • To consider the needs and wishes of the child/young person first and to treat them with respect at all times.
  • To provide parents/carers with a break during school holidays.
  • To provide opportunities for disabled children/young people to try a number of new activities allowing them to learn from this experience and gain self-confidence.
  • To provide a choice of activities to suit a wide range of preferences and to enable children and young people to have fun in a safe environment.
  • To promote the inclusion of disabled children and young people into mainstream life through friendship with volunteers and other young people.
  • To be sensitive to the differing cultural needs of the children, young people and volunteers who attend our schemes.
  • To provide volunteers on a one-to-one basis.
  • To ensure that volunteers are given the relevant training and are well supported.
  • To promote equal opportunities for all and to raise disability awareness.
