About Our Organisation

Bouncy CastleWhitgift SNAP's objectives are to provide playschemes during the school holidays, in a fun and safe environment, for disabled children and young people between the ages of 5 and 25.

The schemes take place at Whitgift School, South Croydon, which is an independent school with facilities of the highest standard. SNAP utilises the classrooms, sports hall and a swimming pool with a hoist amongst other areas.

We offer a wide variety of experiences that may not otherwise be available to Croydon's young people and also provide an opportunity for these young people to become integrated into the mainstream of life through friendships with other young people and volunteers.

We are very careful to consider the needs and wishes of our children and young people and to treat them with respect at all times.

We provide volunteers on a one to one basis and ensure that volunteers are given the relevant training and are well supported.

SNAP is a highly valued Croydon project, which started in 1985, and receives excellent feedback from each Ofsted Inspection.

SNAP is a local community project, organised and supported by members of the local community to provide a fun-filled and much needed service for families in the local community with disabled children and young people.
